Witness to the Unseen
Witness To The Unseen
Under the skies where silence screams
A river of sorrow runs so deep
Shattered are the fragile dreams
While shadows of the guilty creep.
The fields of olive still soaked in red
Lives uprooted by cruel hands
The air is heavy with the dead
Their cries swept across barren lands.
A nation cloaked in hollow pride
Wields power like ruthless knives
Their greed the flame where hope has died
Their conquest costing countless lives.
Children weep, their mothers gone
Fathers fall, their spirits torn
The world looks on, a muted pawn
While innocence is left to mourn.
How long must suffering bear its face?
While justice turns its gaze away?
Can we endure this endless disgrace?
And let the tyrants have their day?
Oh, history, mark this with your ink
The deeds of those who sowed despair
For every heart pushed to the brink
There'll be a reckoning somewhere.
But still, the bloodied dawn appears
A cycle forged in brutal lore
And in the silence of our tears
We vow to whisper, "Nevermore."
